Rach Mieu 2 cable-stayed bridge with a length of 1,971.2 m crosses the Tien River, about 4 km upstream from the current Rach Mieu bridge. The project has a main span diagram (120 + 270 + 120) m, designed as a 4-lane plain level III road, with a total length of about 17.6 km. |

The end point of the project connects to National Highway 60, the old Ben Tre city (now part of Vinh Long), nearly 1 km from Ham Luong bridge. Rach Mieu 2 bridge will create a new vital traffic route, shortening travel time and promoting regional economic development. |

The representative of the My Thuan Project Management Board - Ministry of Construction announced that the project progress has reached 99.1%. It is expected that by July 31, 2025, all remaining items will be completed and before September 2, 2025, it will be officially inaugurated and put into operation, contributing to connecting the provinces of the Southwest region. |

The starting point of the project is at Dong Tam intersection (the intersection between National Highway 1 and Provincial Road 870) in Chau Thanh district, former Tien Giang province (now Dong Thap). |
