Received 85 Vietnamese citizens involved in fraud activities in Cambodia

(QNgTV) - On July 30, at Hoa Lu International Border Gate, the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command received 85 Vietnamese citizens handed over by Cambodian authorities. The 85 citizens were detained in Kratie province for “criminal activities and online fraud”.

Previously, Dong Nai requested the provincial police to coordinate with relevant authorities and localities where the 85 Vietnamese citizens reside to verify the identities of the above cases to coordinate with the provincial Military Command and send a working group to carry out procedures to receive citizens according to regulations.

At the same time, the province also directed the investigation, verification and strict handling of individuals and organizations that conduct online fraud and lure Vietnamese citizens with the trick of "finding jobs online" or "easy work, high salary".
