On the afternoon of March 9, answering a reporter's question regarding the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister's announcement on March 5 that he was drafting an agreement on simplifying visa procedures with six countries, including Vietnam, Deputy Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang informed that recently, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia have actively discussed with the Russian side on simplifying entry procedures for Vietnamese citizens.
"Vietnam welcomes Russia's consideration of simplifying procedures for Vietnamese citizens, creating conditions for increased travel, exchanges, and people-to-people exchanges, contributing to promoting relations between the two countries," said Ms. Pham Thu Hang.
