Vietnamese art troupes are present at the " World EXPO 2025" exhibition, bringing with them many cultural stories representing the values of the nation. With this year's exhibition taking place in Osaka, Vietnamese representatives chose to combine traditional art from Vietnam and Japan.

Within the framework of the exhibition, on August 22, the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Association chaired and coordinated with many units to organize the "Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Program."

Here, two performing teams from Vietnam, Nui Truc Sakura and Hanoi Sennen, brought the story of Lac Long Quan and the fire spirit into Yosakoi dances. These are the two teams that won the title of "Yosakoi Ambassador to Vietnam" by the Kochi Prefecture government - the cradle of this dance (awarded in 2017).

Yosakoi is a contemporary Japanese dance, born after World War II, popular in modern life because of its universality, youthfulness, ease of performance and conveying many positive emotions.

Thanks to the contagious nature of this dance, Vietnamese representatives convey the message of a nation rich in pride, solidarity and closeness like brothers. Through this, the Vietnamese people will always be resilient and united to overcome the difficulties and challenges ahead.

Besides Yosakoi, singer Trang Bui also brought many songs with national identity. Notably, the song "Co Doi Thuong Ngan" in the Vietnamese spirit medium culture - a belief recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Besides songs in their mother tongue, the Vietnamese side also performed "O Sole mio" (My Sun) - a world famous song from Italy.

With its strong resonance and lasting vitality for more than 120 years, "O Sole mio" puts Vietnam in the same flow with human values: Praising the joy of life, the desire for the best things coming from love between people.

Head of the organizing committee, Mr. Le Ngoc Dinh - Former Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) said that this is a meaningful activity, not only contributing to promoting Vietnamese culture to the host country Japan, but also to many international friends. "The activities show the beauty of cultural exchange between the two countries, and at the same time contribute practically to promoting the friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Japan," said Mr. Le Ngoc Dinh.
