Vietnam drops 7 places in the Tourism and Travel Development Index.

Specifically, Vietnam's TTDI (Transit-Independent Development Index) scored 3.96 out of 7 points, ranking 59th out of 119 countries and territories. Within the ASEAN region, Vietnam ranks 5th after Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Considering the entire Asia-Pacific region, Vietnam ranks 11th.

The lowest-scoring indicator for Vietnam's tourism industry is tourism service infrastructure, with only 2.2 points (ranked 80th out of 119). Meanwhile, indicators that received good ratings include: security and safety, and price. including competition, natural resources, cultural resources...

The TTDI is a comprehensive report comprising five groups with 17 indicators assessing the tourism and travel industry development capacity of 119 countries and territories. It is considered a reputable scoring tool for stakeholders to evaluate the progress of tourism development in various countries and to make investment decisions in the tourism sector at a particular destination.
