In 2025, Vietnam Airlines aims to launch and restore 15 international routes connecting Vietnam with strategic markets such as Italy, Russia, Denmark, China, India, Japan, Korea, UAE... This is not only a step to expand the flight network but also a strong commitment of Vietnam Airlines in realizing the goal of welcoming 22 to 23 million international passengers in 2025.
As of June 2025, the airline has launched 5 new routes to Beijing, Bangkok, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Busan; and restored 4 international routes to Moscow, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong. Along with that, Vietnam Airlines continuously increases the frequency of key routes to meet the strong increase in demand from major tourism markets such as China, Korea, India, Germany, Thailand, Singapore, etc.

Not only bringing international tourists to Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines also contributes to deepening economic - trade - investment links with global partners, playing a core role in the green and sustainable growth strategy based on tourism, services and global connectivity.

We must develop a modern, green Vietnam Airlines, build a cultural identity of Vietnam Airlines based on a foundation of the core identity of Vietnamese national culture - that is the constant striving, steadfastness, courage, intelligence, intelligence, very humane, very friendly, very precious feelings, national love, compatriotism.
As an “extended arm” of the tourism and cultural diplomacy industry, Vietnam Airlines is becoming an important factor in the national branding strategy, enhancing Vietnam’s image in the international arena.
Digital transformation - Leverage to enhance experience and international integration
Constantly innovating to reach global standards, Vietnam Airlines has implemented a series of digital transformation initiatives, aiming to become a 5-star digital airline. The airline has pioneered the application of biometric authentication technology throughout the process, cooperated with Amadeus IT Group, FPT to apply artificial intelligence (AI), process automation (RPA) and joined hands with VNPT to deploy wifi services on wide-body aircraft from 2025.
Notably, Vietnam Airlines is the first airline in Vietnam to be recognized as an Advanced E-commerce Carrier by the international organization SkaiBlu. With a DAS Level 4 index - on par with Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates - Vietnam Airlines has entered the group of airlines with the world's leading digital capabilities.
