Viglacera Hung Yen will develop a new generation industrial park towards international standards.

On the morning of October 8, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province Nguyen Khac Than officially presented the Decision approving the investment policy to Viglacera Hung Yen Joint Stock Company, and at the same time approved the enterprise as the investor of the Project to build and operate infrastructure of Industrial Park No. 01 - Phase 1.

Industrial Park No. 01 is located in Yen My and Xuan Truc communes, adjacent to provincial road 382B and directly connected to Hanoi - Hai Phong highway, holding a strategic position, the gateway connecting the key economic region of the North.

The project has a scale of nearly 217 hectares, with a total investment of VND2,325 billion; of which the investor's contributed capital is nearly VND349 billion, mobilized capital is VND1,976 billion, and the operating period is 50 years from the date of investment policy approval.

According to the 1/2000 planning project approved by the People's Committee of Hung Yen province, Industrial Park No. 01 is oriented to develop according to the new generation industrial park model, integrating green infrastructure - high technology - smart management, aiming towards international standards on operation and sustainable development.

At the decision-giving conference, Mr. Ton Manh Dung, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viglacera Hung Yen Joint Stock Company, affirmed: Receiving the decision on investment policy for Industrial Park No. 01 is a particularly important milestone, not only an honor for Viglacera Hung Yen, but also a testament to the belief and vision of sustainable industrial development that Hung Yen province is steadfastly pursuing.

Industrial Park No. 01 is oriented towards three main pillars. First, green and sustainable: Wastewater treatment system meets column A standards, green trees ratio over 15%, priority is given to the use of renewable energy. Second, smart and modern: Applying digital infrastructure and “one-stop service” management model to effectively serve investors. Third, connection and symbiosis: Forming an industrial - logistics - urban - service ecosystem, creating economic efficiency and sustainable social value.

Industrial Park No. 01 is oriented to develop according to 3 main pillars: Green and sustainable, smart and modern, connected and symbiotic.

When put into operation, the project is expected to contribute to promoting socio-economic development of Hung Yen province, creating more jobs, increasing budget revenue and improving the lives of local people.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province Nguyen Khac Than welcomed Viglacera Hung Yen to implement the high-tech industrial park infrastructure project in the area in accordance with the province's orientation. The Chairman of the People's Committee requested the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, relevant departments, localities and project investors to proactively coordinate closely to soon complete legal procedures, focus on quickly clearing the site for the project, promote investment promotion activities, attract large-scale, high-tech, environmentally friendly projects to the industrial park; strive to start the construction project of Industrial Park No. 1 - Phase 1 on December 19, 2025.

According to the development orientation, by 2030, Hung Yen strives to become a modern industrial province, developing rapidly and sustainably, with GRDP increasing by 10-11%/year, economic scale of about 600,000 billion VND, GRDP per capita of over 180 million VND/year.

By 2045, Hung Yen aims to become a smart, ecological city directly under the Central Government, a strong industrial, logistics and marine economic center of the North.

The implementation of Industrial Park No. 01 - Phase 1 along with many other key projects of the province will open up A new development phase for the Northern region, with synchronized infrastructure, strategic location and green development orientation - smart - Sustainable convergence creates strong attraction for domestic and foreign investors.

Special, with experience and industrial ecosystem in GELEX and Viglacera systems has been confirmed, project is expected to become a new destination for FDI capital flows, contributing positively to the goal of industrialization. - modernize the country, while contributing to affirming the pioneering position of Vietnamese enterprises in developing green and sustainable industrial infrastructure.
