Although it has only been launched recently, the EC Van electric vehicle developed by VinFast has been considered a strong boost for the greening trend in the small cargo vehicle segment in the Vietnamese market.
According to observers, the first highlight of VinFast EC Van lies in its impressive urban performance. With overall dimensions of 3,767 x 1,680 x 1,790 mm (length x width x height), EC Van has a compact design, can be flexible in narrow neighborhoods, densely populated areas or roads prohibited for heavy trucks.

For Mr. Tran Le, the owner of a small computer store in Da Nang , the maximum travel distance of 150 km per charge completely meets his needs. He said that EC Van is very suitable for short-term transportation, delivering goods on fixed routes within the city or between nearby districts.
Not only convenient, EC Van is also safe with many features that are usually only found on passenger cars such as ABS anti-lock braking system, EBD electronic brake force distribution, TCS traction control and ESS emergency brake light. More specifically, EC Van buyers will not need to worry about usage costs because VinFast is currently offering free charging until mid-2027 for all electric car owners. This will be a huge advantage compared to gasoline cars because fuel costs can cost car owners up to hundreds of millions of VND per year.
Therefore, many experts believe that EC Van will be a "hot item" for many customers. For small households or individuals working in the delivery industry, EC Van helps upgrade personal vehicles into effective business "assistants".
