Vinh Phuc has a work that won first prize in the photo contest "Buddhism in life, 2nd time, 2024"

Recently, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in collaboration with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh province and Ngoa Van Yen Tu Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company organized the award ceremony of the 2nd "Buddhism in Life" photo contest in 2024. At the same time, the opening of the photo exhibition with the theme "Buddhism in Life" from December 8 to 10, 2024 at the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center in Hanoi.

At this contest, Vinh Phuc delegation won first prize with the work "New Students" by photographer Bui Viet Duc.

After nearly 2 months of launching the contest, the Organizing Committee received 772 entries from 145 authors across the country. Selecting from 75 excellent entries, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes and 3 Third Prizes.

The photo contest aims to introduce and honor the quintessence and unique values in Vietnamese Buddhist activities in general and the worldly ideology of Truc Lam Buddhism in the cause of national unity, building and developing the country.

At the same time, exploit and promote the unique contents and values in the ideological and cultural heritage of Tran Nhan Tong and Truc Lam Buddhism to today's and future generations; introduce famous landscapes, historical and cultural relics, and architectural works of Truc Lam Buddhism to friends near and far, domestic and international tourists.
