Vinh Phuc welcomes nearly 210,000 visitors during the Lunar New Year

Thanks to its strengths in spiritual and cultural tourism, resorts, favorable weather, and a 9-day holiday, during this year's Lunar New Year, Vinh Phuc welcomed a large number of tourists to visit, worship and enjoy the spring.

According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday, the whole province is estimated to welcome nearly 210,000 tourists, of which about 35% are overnight guests, tourism revenue is estimated at more than 132 billion VND, an increase of 10% over the same period last year. The number of visitors to Vinh Phuc is mainly families and groups of friends, concentrated at picnic spots such as Tam Dao and Ngoc Thanh. International visitors are mostly experts working in industrial parks in and outside the province, participating in sports tourism activities such as golf.

Not only has there been a strong recovery with the number of tourists increasing again, during this year's Lunar New Year, tourism activities have taken place safely, without overloading or traffic congestion. Room rates at accommodation areas remain stable and there have been no major fluctuations in service prices. Tourism businesses have proactively designed discount and stimulus programs, launched many new tourism packages and focused on service quality, attracting a large number of tourists.

In addition, districts, cities, tourist areas, tourist attractions, and tourism businesses in the area have done a good job of serving tourists during the 2025 Lunar New Year; strictly complied with regulations on strengthening the assurance of a joyful, healthy, safe, and economical Tet holiday; and fully ensured conditions to serve the tourism needs of people and visitors to Vinh Phuc.
