Vinmec Central Park excellently achieved the JCI gold quality certification for the 3rd time

This outstanding success is the result of nearly 9 years of continuous efforts to reach international standards of Vinmec Central Park, aiming to become the leading specialized general hospital in the Southern region.

In this re-evaluation, Vinmec Central Park is the first hospital in Vietnam and also the first medical facility in the world to apply a number of important criteria in the JCI Standard Version 8 (expected to officially take effect in mid-2024).

By proactively updating and improving operations according to new requirements, Vinmec Central Park is highly appreciated by the world's leading JCI assessors from the US, UK and Australia.

Vinmec Central Park achieved near-perfect scores and received the JCI Gold Seal of Quality for the third time.

After an assessment of nearly 1,300 criteria, the hospital achieved 9.92/10 - a near-perfect score. In particular, the newly added criteria belonging to the Programs: Infection prevention and control and facility safety; reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections through mechanical and technical controls, setting priorities based on risk research data, responding to the emergence of global epidemics... were also well applied by Vinmec Central Park and achieved excellent scores.

In particular, JCI assessors highly appreciated Vinmec's measures and policies to ensure maximum safety for patients, as well as continuous improvement in service quality.

With programs, processes, and a system of proactive review and regular inspection, Vinmec Central Park has been successful in controlling important issues in the medical environment, typically hospital infections, medication errors, medical errors...

Safety culture and reporting culture have become typical at Vinmec Central Park as well as Vinmec Healthcare System.

In addition, Vinmec is also one of the first hospitals in Vietnam to effectively apply the team model in patient care, an evidence-based care package in preventing hospital-acquired infections such as: infections related to central venous catheters, surgical site infections, ventilator-associated pneumonia, urinary catheters, bacteremia, etc.

Not only are high-risk drugs carefully monitored, recorded and analyzed to develop safe management strategies, 100% of inpatient drug orders are also reviewed, including orders prescribed outside of office hours.
