The group of stocks with the strongest recovery was real estate: CEO hit the ceiling, PDR increased by 4.08%, DIG increased by 2.74%, DXG increased by 2.5%, HDC increased by 3.06%, TCH increased by 4.88%, NLG increased by 2.04%. NVL shares continued to fall to the floor after the previous 2 sessions of falling to the floor, and at the end of the session, the decline also narrowed, down 2.78%.
Banking stocks still lean towards green: CTG increased by 1.1%, LPB increased by 1.84%; TCB, VPB, HDB, BID, VCB,ACB increased by nearly 1%.
In addition, other stock groups such as consumer, information technology, and oil and gas also increased strongly:FPT increased by 4.3%, HUT increased by 5.96%, MWG increased by 1.81%, HAG increased by 3.59%, MSN increased by 1.28%, BSR increased by 3.8%, PVS increased by 4.48%, PLX increased by 2.7%.
The stock group in particular leaned towards red: TCX decreased by 1.84%, CTS decreased by 1.09%; SSI, VND, VCI, VDS decreased by nearly 1%.
At the end of the trading session, VN-Index increased by 15.07 points (0.91%) to 1,678.5 points with 218 stocks increasing, 113 stocks decreasing and 33 stocks remaining unchanged. At the end of the session at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, HNX-Index also increased by 4.04 points (1.53%) to 268.69 points with 91 stocks increasing, 57 stocks decreasing and 66 stocks remaining unchanged. Liquidity decreased, the total transaction value on the HOSE floor was nearly 32,200 billion VND, down 10,580 billion VND compared to the previous session. If including the HNX floor, liquidity was nearly 35,100 billion VND, down 16,300 billion VND compared to the previous session.
Foreign investors returned to net selling more than VND1,625 billion on the HOSE after the previous net buying session. The top 3 stocks with the strongest net selling were CTG with nearly VND185 billion, HPG with nearly VND166 billion and VCI with nearly VND150 billion.
