Right at the beginning of the morning session, VN-Index reversed and recovered and at one point reached a peak of 1,505.47 after increasing more than 18 points (equivalent to 1.22%).
However, selling pressure then began to increase, making it impossible for the VN-Index to continue its upward momentum. At the end of the morning session, the VN-Index fell 3.12 points (equivalent to 0.21%) to 1,490.29 points with 122 stocks increasing, 187 stocks decreasing and 51 stocks remaining unchanged. The total trading volume reached 918.2 million units, worth VND22,350.6 billion, down nearly 35% in volume and nearly 39% in value compared to yesterday morning's session.

At the end of the trading session, the VN-Index increased by 14.22 points (0.95%) to 1,507.63 points. The entire HoSE recorded 223 stocks increasing, 111 stocks decreasing and 39 stocks remaining unchanged. In the VN30 basket, there were 20 stocks increasing, 9 stocks decreasing and 1 stock remaining unchanged. The VN30-Index increased by 9.49 points (0.59%) to 1,630.78 points.
After being under strong selling pressure yesterday, SHB shares had an impressive recovery when closing at the ceiling price. Similarly, SHS shares also recorded the maximum increase, showing a positive signal of the return of stocks related to the ecosystem of Mr. Hien.
GEX and VIX, which hit the floor in the previous session, quickly regained momentum and closed at the ceiling price.
Some bank codes contributed positively to the market's upward trend today such as VPB (VPBank), CTG (VietinBank), MBB (MBBank), STB (Sacombank), BID ( BIDV )...
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index increased by 6.15 points (2.41%) to 261.51 points. The entire floor had 112 stocks increasing, 50 stocks decreasing and 65 stocks remaining unchanged.
UpCOM-Index alone decreased by 0.96 points, stopping at 105.11 points.
Order matching liquidity in today's session decreased significantly compared to yesterday, reaching more than 46,000 billion VND on all 3 floors.
