Wife files for divorce 40 days after wedding because of husband's strange habit

A woman in Agra (Uttar Pradesh, India) filed for divorce after only 40 days of marriage because she could not stand her husband's hygiene habits.

The woman's husband, Rajesh, only bathed once or twice a month. His body gave off an unpleasant odor that his wife could not stand.

During the first 40 days of their marriage, Rajesh only bathed a few times, mostly at the prompting of his wife.

Every week he sprinkles river water on himself, but that is not enough to ensure personal hygiene.

Finally, the woman could not bear this situation and decided to end the marriage.

After a heated argument with her husband, she moved back in with her parents. Her family filed a complaint and asked for a divorce.

Although Mr. Rajesh agreed to change his personal hygiene habits and take a daily bath, his wife still did not want to continue living with him.

This is not the only bizarre divorce case in Agra. A few months ago, a woman filed for divorce from her husband because he did not buy her a pack of her favorite snack.
