Not only that, Tomoya Tsuboi also has home field advantage as this match takes place in Japan. With the advantage of youth, Tomoya Tsuboi showed his superiority over Tran Van Thao in the first half.

The Japanese warrior launched very fast attacks, making it difficult for Van Thao to defend.

In the first rounds, Van Thao mainly defended and did not launch dangerous attacks towards his opponent.

In the fourth round, Tomoya Tsuboi increased his speed in the hope of knocking out Van Thao. The Vietnamese fighter still patiently defended and waited for the opportunity to launch counterattacks.

The Japanese boxer's stamina was impressive. He continued to attack until round 10. In the end, Tomoya Tsuboi won by decision. The scores from the three judges were 98-92, 100-90, 100-90, all in favor of the Japanese boxer.

Van Thao missed the WBO Asia Pacific championship. This is a lesson for Vietnamese boxers if they want to succeed in the international arena.
