The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Director of the Department of Education and Training and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of wards and communes to strictly implement the specialized direction on strengthening food safety control in and around schools.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested to select a unit with sufficient capacity to best meet the needs of providing food, ingredients and meals for boarding meals under its management.

The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee also requested to increase regular and surprise inspections, supervision and evaluation of the organization of meals for boarding students; immediately suspend the provision of meals, food and processing materials of units if violations are detected.
In addition, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee emphasized the need to review and handle the responsibilities of school principals in the area if violations occur.
At the same time, the responsibility of heads of departments, branches, and sectors, and Chairmen of People's Committees of wards and communes will be considered and handled if they do not seriously implement the city's direction on organizing meals for boarding students.
