Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thao (58 years old, Hong Linh village) said: “My family grows 3 sao of vegetable seedlings. On average, from September to January (lunar calendar) every year, we sow 7-8 batches, each batch produces hundreds of thousands of vegetable seedlings of all kinds such as: cauliflower, cabbage, kohlrabi, eggplant, lettuce, mustard greens... to sell to the market.
Although the weather is a bit unfavorable, thanks to the care, the seedlings are growing well and can be sold in about a week.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thao collects straw to cover the newly sown beds, so that the seedlings can grow smoothly.

Mr. Phan Van Duc (52 years old, Hong Linh village) said: "Although the quantity is not much, at this time, we have started selling some vegetable seedlings such as: chicken mustard, cauliflower, kohlrabi, lettuce... These are mainly vegetable beds that we use new plastic cuttings as frames to cover with plastic tarps, avoiding the recent heavy rain".
At this time, local farmers have started to grow winter vegetables, so all the seedlings that Mr. Duc harvested have been sold out. Currently, the price of vegetable seedlings such as cauliflower and kohlrabi is 10,000 VND/bag of 10 plants, and broccoli and lettuce are 5-6,000 VND/bag of 10-15 plants.

Thanks to the production of vegetable seedlings, on average each crop (rotating for 3-4 months), people earn an estimated 60-80 million VND/sao of planting.
