Vietnam's foreign tourism promotion website rises to top 2 in the region

The website vietnam.travel promoting foreign tourism of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has recently improved its ranking, rising to 2nd place in Southeast Asia.

According to the website analysis and ranking website worldwide similarweb.com, in March 2025, the website https://vietnam.travel of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism ranked 120,809 in the world.

In Southeast Asia, Vietnam's website has risen to second place, after Thailand's tourism website (ranked 88,657) and above Singapore (ranked 120,869), Indonesia (ranked 160,089), and far surpassing Malaysia (ranked 401,954), and the Philippines (ranked 1,157,026).

Notably, the rate of foreign access to the website vietnam.travel reached 83%, almost equivalent to the Singapore website (87%), much higher than the websites of Thailand (48%), Indonesia (66%), Malaysia and the Philippines (64%).

India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia… are the countries with the most traffic to the website vietnam.travel. In particular, traffic from the Indian market increased by 51.7% last March.

In addition, in terms of average number of pages viewed/visit, the vietnam.travel website achieved an index of 1.69 pages/visit, higher than the Thai website with 1.57 pages/visit. The percentage of users accessing the vietnam.travel website via mobile phones accounted for 66.5%, accessing from desktop computers accounted for 33.5%.

Recently, on April 10, 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 34/CD-TTg requesting to promote tourism development, ensuring double-digit economic growth, demonstrating the appreciation and close attention of the head of the Government to tourism development.

In the first 3 months of 2025, the number of international visitors to Vietnam reached more than 6 million, the highest ever, an increase of 29.6% over the same period in 2024./.
