Currently, the entire Cho Gao commune has a grapefruit garden area of 445 hectares, of which the fruit-bearing area is estimated at about 400 hectares, with a yield of 101 tons/ha/year. The average grapefruit price ranges from 20,000 VND to 45,000 VND/kg, bringing stable income to gardeners.

Cho Gao Commune focuses on propagating and mobilizing people to practice good agricultural production according to VietGap standards, organic production and building growing area codes to manage and trace the origin, control the quality of agricultural products and serve exports. In the commune, there are 10.55 hectares certified by VietGAP on green-skin grapefruit, with 19 participating households. The commune has implemented 4 growing area codes with an area of 536 hectares, of which 3 are domestic growing area codes on grapefruit and coconut trees; 1 is an export growing area code for grapefruit.
Recently, Dien My Agricultural Service Cooperative in Cho Gao Commune has linked up to sell grapefruit for its members. Currently, the cooperative has linked up with Huong Mien Tay Ben Tre Agricultural Products Import-Export Company Limited to link up to sell grapefruit for its members.
