Da Huoai 2 Commune: Establishing the Billionaire Farmer Club and building a "Golden Book of Affection"

Mr. Le Quang Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors - Director of Ha Lam Agricultural and Orchard Tourism Cooperative said: The Billionaire Farmers Club of Da Huoai 2 commune has officially come into operation with 67 members who are both good producers and pioneers in technology, thinking and modern production methods, ensuring the criteria of households with durian production land in Da Huoai 2 commune with revenue from 700 million to 1 billion VND/ha/year; participating in cooperatives, producing durian according to VietGAP process, applying high technology in agricultural production and building growing area codes.

The Billionaire Farmers Club of Da Huoai 2 Commune aims to have 100% of the commune's durian growing area achieve an income of 700 million VND to 1 billion VND/ha/year by 2030.

The establishment of the Club is of great significance, creating a forum for connection, support and cooperation between good farmers, which is the core force contributing to promoting the development of the commune's agricultural economy in a sustainable and effective manner. At the same time, this is also the pioneering force leading farmers in the whole commune to move towards large-scale commodity production, according to international standards, contributing to increasing income, stabilizing life and affirming the brand of local agricultural products.

In particular, in its operating regulations, the Billionaire Farmers Club of Da Huoai 2 commune has established a humanitarian fund to help people in difficult circumstances in the commune in order to spread the spirit of solidarity, affection, and readiness to join hands for the community of new-age farmers.

Thereby, arousing the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, creating resources to support the poor, disadvantaged households, policy families, and cases of misfortune in the locality.

"Golden Book of Love" is an address to record and honor organizations, individuals, businesses and philanthropists who have made practical contributions to humanitarian, charitable and social security activities in Da Huoai 2 commune.

Right at the ceremony, many groups and individuals contributed to building the "Golden Book of Love" with an initial amount of 106 million VND.
