Dai Phuoc Commune: Policy credit activities are implemented safely, smoothly and effectively.

(CTT-Dong Nai) - On September 18, at Phu Huu transaction point, Dai Phuoc commune, the Transaction Office of the Bank for Social Policies (BSP) Nhon Trach organized a regular transaction session, creating favorable conditions for people to access policy credit capital right in the locality. Activities during the transaction day took place safely and smoothly, promptly meeting the loan needs of policy beneficiaries, especially households with children studying at universities, colleges and intermediate schools.

Up to now, the total outstanding debt at Phu Huu transaction point has reached more than 95.7 billion VND, managed through 35 savings and credit groups (S&L) with 1,732 customers. The S&L groups managed by socio -political organizations have all operated in a disciplined and effective manner, contributing significantly to the transfer of preferential capital to borrowers. Specifically, the Farmers' Association and Women's Union manage 15 groups, the Youth Union and Veterans' Association are jointly responsible for 6 groups. Not only doing a good job of management, the groups also regularly propagate and guide members, union members and borrowers to use capital for the right purpose, promote economic efficiency, and at the same time comply with debt and interest repayment on time.

On the same day of transaction, Nhon Trach Social Policy Bank disbursed loans to 68 households with a total amount of 2.73 billion VND. Of which: Loan program for students in difficult circumstances: disbursed to 37 households, more than 1.4 billion VND, helping many students have timely funds to pay tuition and cover study costs. Loan program to support job creation: disbursed to 19 households, 950 million VND, supporting households to invest in production, business, and expand local employment. Clean water and rural environmental sanitation program: disbursed to 11 households, 310 million VND, contributing to improving the quality of life and improving the living environment of people. Loan program for newly escaped poverty households: disbursed to 1 household, 50 million VND, supporting households to continue economic development and avoid falling back into poverty.

Through the achieved results, the Nhon Trach Social Policy Bank continues to affirm its role as a "bank for the poor, a bank for the community", gradually bringing preferential capital to the right subjects, making an important contribution to social security work, sustainable poverty reduction, job creation, improving the quality of life and promoting local socio-economic development.
