Den Sang Commune visits and encourages people to take shelter from flood

On August 27, Den Sang commune organized a delegation to visit, encourage and support necessities for 53 households in areas at risk of landslides and flash floods due to the impact of storm No. 5, who are taking shelter at the Cultural House of Nam Pen 2 village.

Here, the delegation presented 56 boxes of instant noodles, 300 eggs, and 5 boxes of Fami milk to households; visited and encouraged people to feel secure and stabilize their lives during the shelter period; directly propagated and guided people to proactively move to safe places whenever there was heavy and prolonged rain.

Along with support activities, the leaders of Den Sang commune also directed departments, branches and organizations to closely coordinate in the work of grasping weather information; regularly reviewing and promptly warning areas at risk of landslides; preparing evacuation plans and forces on duty at the grassroots level. The motto is to ensure the safety of people's lives must be put first, absolutely not allowing people to be subjective and return to their homes during complicated floods.
