Martyr Bui Van Hue was born in 1949 in Vu Dai village, Gia Xuan commune, Gia Vien district (now Gia Tran commune, Ninh Binh province). In December 1972, following the sacred call of the Fatherland, young Bui Van Hue enlisted in the army, becoming a soldier of the Vietnam People's Army, right at the time when our nation's resistance war against the US was taking place extremely fiercely. Comrade Bui Van Hue heroically sacrificed himself on August 3, 1973 and was buried at Cam Nghia Martyrs' Cemetery , Quang Tri province . Because the tombstone of martyr Bui Van Hue had incorrect information, the family did not receive any response from the authorities about the martyr's burial place.
Grasping the information about this grave and through searching for the martyr's records, the Association for Supporting Martyrs' Families of Ninh Binh Province quickly connected with the martyr's family ; at the same time, coordinated with the Engineering Command to confirm the information about the martyr's place of death . On that basis, coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs of Ninh Binh Province and Quang Tri Province to correct the incorrect information on the tombstone and completed the procedures to bring the remains of martyr Bui Van Hue back to his homeland after nearly 50 years of separation.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of the province ; the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Traditional Association of Vi Xuyen Soldiers of Ninh Binh province ; the Party Committee, the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Tran commune and the people of Vu Dai village burned incense to commemorate, express deep gratitude and forever remember the great contributions of martyr Bui Van Hue who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
