Previously, from November 16, Khanh Hoa province experienced prolonged heavy rains, causing localized flooding, landslides and property damage. Following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, Nam Cam Ranh commune proactively issued a response notice, developed a duty schedule, and conducted 24/7 duty for members of the Commune Civil Defense Command; organized a review and inspection of key locations, landslide and flooding risk points in the commune; mobilized forces to dredge and clear flooded areas in Hoa Son village, National Highway 1 and the section through National Highway 27B. To ensure safety, the commune evacuated a total of 25 households with 64 people in the villages of Hiep My, My Thanh and Binh Lap to a safe place.
The damage recorded so far includes: 4 houses with roofs blown off, 50m of stream embankment in Thinh Son village eroded; 1ha of snail and white-leg shrimp farming of 2 households was flooded. The villages are continuing to review the damage to report specifically. Currently, the Nam Cam Ranh commune government continues to monitor the rain and floods, update the situation, urgently overcome flooded areas, ensure traffic safety and people's lives...
