"Localities take advantage of state policies and mechanisms to create conditions and encourage people to access capital sources to develop production, trade, services, garden economy, farm economy to solve labor problems and improve people's income and living standards.

Mr. Huynh Son Lam (Eo hamlet, village 5, Tien Tho commune) said: "In the past, when many roads in the commune had not been invested in synchronously, it was very difficult for people to travel and transport goods, and it was also difficult for children to go to school or for the medical station to examine and treat the elderly.

Now, most of the roads and bridges are open, so traveling is very convenient and fast, especially National Highway 40B running through the area has just been expanded and upgraded, making it very convenient for people to travel, trade and do business. Tien Tho's appearance is increasingly prosperous and prosperous. I, as well as the people in Xom Eo, are excited about the changes in the infrastructure of our hometown."

In particular, during these historic September days, the cadres and people of Village 2, Tien Tho Commune, had a new joy when they were recognized by the People's Committee of Tien Phuoc District as a model new rural village. After nearly a year of implementing the construction of a model new rural village, the village's appearance has shown certain improvements.

Currently, 100% of the main roads and over 96% of the alleys in the village have been concreted. Most of the roads are planted with flowers and trees by the people, and are regularly cared for, combined with renovating home gardens to grow local specialty plants, and building clean and beautiful fences and gates. Cultural and sports facilities are invested in and purchased to meet the needs of people's daily life, entertainment, and physical exercise.

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hau - Head of Village 2, Tien Tho Commune shared: "Thanks to the consensus of the people and the investment of the state, we have achieved positive results, contributing to perfecting the criteria for building a model new rural village.

The village People's Committee, together with branches, associations and organizations, focused on propaganda and mobilizing people to change their thinking and ways of doing things in production development, in order to increase income and develop household economy. Thanks to that, the average income per capita of the village reached 48 million VND/year. The poverty rate is still more than 2%".

The appearance of villages and hamlets in Tien Tho is increasingly improving thanks to the construction of new rural areas.

From National Highway 40B, go to the clean Xom Eo model residential area (village 5, Tien Tho commune) with flowers on both sides. Almost every house has a well-planned garden, with colorful flowers and plants. Up to now, the Xom Eo model rural residential area has achieved most of the set criteria. Households in the area actively participate in maintaining the traffic route. Maintain environmental hygiene, plant shade trees, and flower roads to create a green - clean - beautiful landscape.

Members of the cluster strictly abide by the law, implement community conventions, do not violate the law and do not create new social evils. Every year, 100% of households achieve the title of cultural family.

Striving to achieve advanced new rural commune by 2025

With the advantage of being the gateway area of the district bordering Phu Ninh district, with National Highway 40B running through, in recent years, Tien Tho commune has taken advantage of investment sources to build a smooth traffic system.

Currently, 100% of commune and inter-commune roads in Tien Tho are asphalted, nearly 94% of village roads and 87% of alleys have been concreted and hardened to create convenient travel conditions; 100% of households use electricity regularly and safely. The average income per capita in 2023 of the commune will reach over 48 million VND, 4 times higher than in 2010.

Mr. Le Nguyen Hung - Chairman of Tien Tho Commune People's Committee said that Tien Tho was recognized as a commune meeting NTM standards in 2019, and the locality is currently focusing on building an advanced NTM commune.

"Building a new rural area is a goal that has a beginning, but will not have an end. Therefore, the locality continues to take advantage of capital sources from the budget and mobilize all resources from the people, organizations, and businesses, focusing on soft criteria, easy-to-implement criteria first and then completing the remaining criteria.

The locality strives to reach the advanced NTM commune goal by 2025 according to the set planning roadmap," Mr. Hung emphasized.
