The workshop was chaired by: Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, and President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, Director of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology; Associate Professor, Dr. Do Thi Thu Hang, Head of the Professional Affairs Department of the Vietnam Journalists Association; and Dr. Ta Bich Loan, Head of the Entertainment Programs Production Department (VTV3), Vietnam Television.

Journalist Le Quoc Minh delivered the opening remarks at the seminar.

In his opening remarks at the workshop, journalist Le Quoc Minh stated: The workshop is an opportunity for experts, journalists, and leaders of media organizations to identify global technology trends, the inevitable trends shaping digital newsroom models worldwide in general and in Vietnamese media organizations in particular; to discuss technological solutions in digital newsroom management; and to examine the practical application of technology in digital newsroom management in Vietnam.

In the first session of the conference, themed "Technological Solutions in Digital Newsroom Management," the presentations focused on clarifying the role of digital newsrooms in the context of Vietnam's current digital transformation in journalism, the application of Blockchain technology in digital newsroom management, the application of AI technology in automated news and video production based on keywords, and the application of AI in digital content management.

Dr. Tran Quang Dieu, Director of the Center for Information Technology Application, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, gave a presentation.

The second session showcased achievements in applying technology to digital newsroom management in Vietnam, presented by representatives from various media organizations. This included presentations on successful initial models from Vietnam Television, Vietnam Radio, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, and Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV), highlighting applications of artificial intelligence in news production, digital newsroom models, multi-platform content distribution, and digital content business management.

Associate Professor Dr. Do Thi Thu Hang, Head of the Professional Affairs Department of the Vietnam Journalists Association, shared: “This is a workshop on digital transformation in the field of journalism and media, with the participation of many leaders of media agencies, experts in the field of journalism and media, journalists nationwide, and even experts in science and technology to exchange ideas on the application of technology in journalistic activities, share models of digital newsrooms in Vietnam today, and technological solutions in newsroom management. This shows that the topic raised by the workshop is extremely "hot," attracting great interest from scientists, experts, and media agencies in the context of today's rapidly developing technology.”
