On January 19, a clip appeared on social media showing a bus driver being assaulted in the cabin on Highway 18 (through Quang Hanh Ward, Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh ).
The clip recorded the scene where after blocking the car, two drivers got into an argument. Then one of them rushed into the passenger car cabin and repeatedly assaulted the victim, causing his shirt to tear and other scratches.
Immediately after, the assaulted driver went to the authorities to report the incident. According to the report, the victim was LTT (born in 1987, residing in Ha Long City).
The incident occurred at around 1:40 p.m. the same day when driver T. was driving a passenger bus on Highway 18 in the direction of Cam Pha - Ha Long when a passenger bus with license plate number 14F-007.XX blocked his way.
Then, someone from this car came, pulled open the door, climbed into the cabin, grabbed the neck and repeatedly hit the face and body of driver T. After leaving, this person cursed and threatened.
A representative of the leader of Quang Hanh ward, Cam Pha city said that they have received the report from driver T. and will verify and investigate the incident.
