Building 3 safe epidemic zones

Ham Yen was selected to build a safe zone against avian influenza.

3 animal disease-free zones will be built, including Tuyen Quang City, Son Duong and Ham Yen, with foot-and-mouth disease, swine fever, avian influenza, rabies, etc. Accordingly, livestock farms in the areas are responsible for strictly applying biosafety measures; for livestock farms with large-scale livestock chains and for export, they must practice safe livestock farming, disinfect and sterilize barns, and vaccinate against dangerous epidemics at 100% for concentrated livestock farming and over 80% for small-scale livestock farming.

At the same time, build and strengthen the disease monitoring and warning system from the province to the grassroots level, ensuring monitoring to each village, residential group, livestock household, etc. Ensure, control, and prevent disease infection in livestock herds, create conditions for sustainable livestock farming, provide safe products, and increase product value.
