Due to the impact of storm No. 10, Ha Giang 1 ward and Ha Giang 2 ward have experienced serious flooding, greatly affecting people's lives and posing a potential risk of disease outbreaks. In order to proactively prevent disease and contribute to environmental protection, the Provincial Center for Disease Control has carried out disinfection spraying from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on main roads in the two wards using high-capacity machines.

In addition to spraying disinfectants, grassroots health workers have stepped up propaganda and guidance on disease prevention and control measures for the people. In particular, they have focused on instructing people on how to treat domestic water sources such as wells and tanks with Cloramin B chemicals for disinfection, ensuring safe water for drinking and daily activities.

According to plan, the Provincial Center for Disease Control has   Distributed nearly 3 tons of Cloramin B chemicals; more than 150,000 water disinfectant tablets; allocated 20 disinfectant spray pumps to health stations in communes and wards. At the same time, mobilized maximum human resources, vehicles and medical supplies to deploy disinfectant spraying.

Currently, in flooded areas, after the water recedes, large amounts of mud, waste and animal carcasses are left behind, polluting the environment, water sources and potentially causing many dangerous infectious diseases. The implementation of disinfection spraying aims to prevent disease outbreaks after floods, ensuring a safe environment and health for people.
