Accordingly, the Co Thach - Binh Thanh Tourist Area in Tuy Phong district is planned on an area of over 1,036 hectares. This is a tourist area developing various types of activities such as tourism, commerce, services, and residential areas, contributing to creating momentum for socio -economic development in the coastal area of Co Thach - Binh Thanh, Tuy Phong district.
The planned area has a coastline of approximately 17 km, with gently sloping beaches, fine, clean sand, and a pristine environment. Located in Binh Thanh commune, between Lien Huong town and Chi Cong commune, it is a driving force for the development of the coastal economy of Tuy Phong district, and a center of the Phan Thiet - Nha Trang coastal tourism route.
The beach, still pristine and rustic, features many shimmering, colorful rocks of varying sizes naturally stacked upon each other, formed long ago (also known as Ca Duoc Beach or Seven-Colored Rock Beach). Every year, in mid-March, the entire rocky beach turns green due to a layer of moss, then returns to its original multicolored state, creating a magical and unique atmosphere characteristic of this coastal region. Surrounding this rocky beach is a smooth, golden sandy beach called Tien Beach (Fairy Beach).
The planned area also includes famous landmarks such as Co Thach Pagoda, Ong Nam Hai Mausoleum, Binh An Temple, shrines with strong local cultural elements, and the local fishing village... all of which attract tourists to visit and experience.
The Co Thach - Binh Thanh tourist area is the most important tourist destination in the entire Tuy Phong district tourist system, and needs to be invested in and exploited effectively, combined with proper preservation and protection.
