
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with the Provincial Border Guard Command to evaluate the results of border work in the first 8 months of the year. Therein, the discussion focused on: Organizational and personnel building; border management, civil defense, natural disaster prevention, search and rescue; the implementation of resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central and Provincial Party Committees related to the functions and tasks of the Provincial Border Guard Command; results of coordination and cooperation with agencies, units and localities; difficulties and obstacles in implementing tasks... From there, the key tasks in coordinating border work in the coming time were determined.
After listening to the report of the Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard Command, the implementation of tasks and discussion opinions, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard Command in the past time. Notably: Organizing the implementation of 5 key tasks of border work. Proactively and promptly advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Border Guard Command Party Committee, Military Region 2 Command on policies and measures, effectively solving issues in the work of protecting territorial sovereignty, national border security and building a strong provincial border area. The Border Guard force has had many diverse and suitable forms, actively and effectively participating in socio-economic development programs, consolidating the grassroots political system, mobilizing the masses; building a "regular, exemplary, typical" unit.
In the work of border management and protection, the provincial Border Guard has strictly maintained 16 teams and posts, promptly combated, prevented and effectively handled incidents. Maintained and implemented good coordination between the three forces (police, military , border guards) to be ready for combat, prevent natural disasters - search and rescue and coordinate to perform the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and fighting against all types of crimes. Border diplomacy activities are organized regularly and promptly, especially in border gate management, entry and exit control; information exchange, situation monitoring, border marker inspection and propaganda to educate people of all sides to strictly implement border agreements and regulations.

To effectively carry out the task of firmly protecting national border security and sovereignty in the context of many potential difficulties and unpredictable developments, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Border Guard Command to continue to seriously and effectively implement the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and border guards at all levels on national defense and border protection, ensuring security and order at the border and localities. In particular, it is necessary to do a better job of advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee on policies and solutions for leading and directing the task of protecting national border security and sovereignty and building a strong provincial border area on the basis of proactively, promptly grasping, researching, assessing and correctly forecasting the situation. Continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, consolidate political bases, and help people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty in border areas. Continue to synchronously and drastically deploy solutions to improve the comprehensive leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations at all levels; Building a disciplined, disciplined provincial border force; a team of "both red and professional" cadres, meeting mission requirements.
Regarding the recommendations of the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command related to investment in facilities and infrastructure serving border work and improving the lives of officers and soldiers, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct relevant agencies and units to advise or resolve according to their authority.
