Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of December 27, the Party Committee of the Hanoi Capital Command held a conference to issue a resolution on leadership in implementing tasks in 2025. Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Capital Command Bui Thi Minh Hoai chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense ; leaders of a number of city agencies.

Hanoi Party Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai delivered the opening speech at the conference.

At the conference, the Party Committee of the Capital Command thoroughly grasped and implemented the Resolution of the Central Military Commission on leading the implementation of military and defense tasks and building the Army Party Committee in 2025; discussed the results of leadership in implementing tasks in 2024, and the direction and goals of leadership in implementing tasks in 2025.

The conference unanimously assessed that in 2024, in the context of intertwined opportunities, advantages, difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee of the Capital Command and Party committees and commanders at all levels thoroughly grasped the Resolution of the Central Military Commission and the Hanoi Party Committee, focused on leadership and direction to comprehensively complete targets and tasks, and successfully and excellently completed many tasks.

The Capital's armed forces have promoted their core role in building the all-people national defense, the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture. The city's defense area is increasingly solid; ensuring absolute safety for political events in the area. As a result, training, exercises, competitions, and sports events have achieved high results and rankings. The overall quality and combat strength of the Capital's armed forces have been improved. The discipline and quality of Party building work have been maintained and are effective. Party committees and Party committees at all levels have proactively implemented plans and guided Party congresses at all levels.

With high consensus, the Party Committee of the Capital Command voted 100% to pass the conference resolution.

Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Capital Command determined that 2025 is of important significance, a year with many major anniversaries of the country; the year of holding Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030. The world and regional situation is forecast to continue to have rapid, complicated and unpredictable developments. In the country, hostile and reactionary forces continue to promote "peaceful evolution", promote "self-evolution", "self-transformation", "depoliticization" of the army with increasingly public, direct and drastic methods and tricks, especially on the occasion of Party Congresses at all levels; the situation of natural disasters, epidemics, fires and explosions is still potentially complicated...

In that context, the Party Committee of the Capital Command affirmed its determination to lead and perform well the advisory function with the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee on military and defense tasks. Effectively implement the action program of the Central Military Commission, the Hanoi Party Committee, and the plan of the Party Committee of the Capital Command to implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee (13th tenure) on the strategy of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

Building the Party Committee of the Capital Command to be strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres.

The Resolution of the Party Committee of the Capital Command also specifically identified 5 main groups of targets along with tasks and leadership solutions on political tasks, leadership in building a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical" unit and Party building work.

In particular, the Party Committee of the Capital Command is determined to advise the leadership and direct the drastic implementation to complete the tasks and targets of Program No. 09-CTr/TU dated March 17, 2021 of the Hanoi Party Committee on "Strengthening national defense and security potential, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the city for the period 2021-2025". Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress, term 2020-2025, practically welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party.
