On July 30, the Party Committee of Cua Nam Ward ( Hanoi ) held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term, comprehensively assessing the results achieved in the 2020-2025 term, drawing lessons, and at the same time setting out directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term and the following years; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 18th City Party Congress, and the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of Delegates of the Party.
Attending the Congress were comrades: Former Politburo member, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung; former Politburo Standing Member, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Pham The Duyet; former Assistant to the General Secretary, former Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dao Duc Toan; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan and representatives of central and Hanoi city departments, ministries and branches, along with the participation of 199 official delegates representing 5,268 party members in the entire ward Party Committee.
Cua Nam Ward determines that by 2030, it will build a streamlined, effective, efficient, truly clean and strong Party Committee and political system; a team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers with high professional qualifications, pure moral qualities, innovative thinking, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, meeting the requirements of new tasks. In addition, the ward continues to develop the socio-economy quickly, comprehensively and firmly; ensure good national defense, security, social order and safety; the quality of people's material and spiritual life is increasingly improved.
Building Cua Nam ward into the top service-trade-tourism center of the Capital; effectively applying science-technology and digital transformation in urban management and economic development; building Cua Nam people in the new era to be civilized, dynamic, intelligent and affectionate.
At the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan highly appreciated the achievements of the Cua Nam Ward Party Committee in recent times; requested the Ward Party Committee to continue to inherit and promote the heroic tradition of Inter-zone 1 and the strengths and achievements achieved in the 2020-2025 term, focusing on innovative leadership, creative management, and drastic actions to excellently complete the set goals and tasks.
The ward continues to focus on innovation in thinking, streamlining the apparatus to operate more efficiently and effectively; paying attention to training and attracting a team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers with high professional qualifications and pure moral qualities to meet the requirements of the new situation.
According to Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Cua Nam Ward Pham Tuan Long, by 2045, the ward strives to become a model in harmoniously combining cultural heritage preservation and modern urban development, where digital economy and innovation play the main role as growth drivers. To realize this goal, the ward determines to take people as the center; international cooperation, effective coordination with local universities; digital transformation and innovation as driving forces; expanding and effectively promoting high-quality human resources; developing in conjunction with environmental protection and maintaining security and order...
The report at the Congress showed that in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee and people of Cua Nam Ward have achieved many important achievements. Among them, the goals and targets of the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term were all achieved and exceeded; the work of building the Party and the political system was implemented synchronously and creatively, achieving comprehensive results; the economic structure continued to shift in a positive direction; the state budget revenue in the area continued to grow strongly, with an estimated average of 12,611 billion VND/year in the 2021-2025 period.
At the Congress, a number of important decisions were announced, including the Decision to appoint the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Cua Nam Ward for the 2025-2030 term; Decision to appoint delegates to attend the 18th Congress of Hanoi Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; 100% of delegates attending the Congress voted to pass the Resolution of the 1st Congress.
Mr. Pham Tuan Long was previously appointed as Secretary of the Ward Party Committee.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development", the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Cua Nam Ward, term 2025-2030 was successful, affirming the aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people in the ward.
