Solid foundation from socio -economic

Cat Tien 2 Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging Phuoc Cat Town Party Committee, Duc Pho Commune Party Committee and Phuoc Cat 2 Commune Party Committee (old). Comrade Nguyen Van Thuc - Secretary of Cat Tien 2 Commune Party Committee said that in the 2020 - 2025 term, Cat Tien 2 Commune has 2 exceeded targets and 10 targets achieved the resolution. Of which, the total value of products in the area in 2025 increased by 5.57%; state budget revenue reached 29,035 million VND, an average increase of 35%/year; average income in 2025 reached 57.3 million VND. The poverty rate at the end of 2025 was 13 households, accounting for 0.51%. National defense - security, social order and safety remained stable.

Party building work has been strengthened in all aspects. Every year, 92% or more of the subordinate Party cells successfully complete their tasks; 97 new Party members were admitted, reaching 121.3% of the resolution.

The agricultural sector has gradually demonstrated its sustainability, notably by effectively exploiting land resources and natural conditions to improve and transform crop structures, reducing the area of ineffective cashew trees to growing crops with high economic value. The commune maintains, protects and develops the Cat Tien rice brand; maintains and improves the quality of 15 recognized OCOP products; forms a chain of product consumption links including: 187 dairy cows/6 households, salted roasted cashew nuts of Le Gia Production and Trade Service Cooperative... Forest management and protection work has been strengthened, promptly detecting and handling violations according to regulations...

Dairy farming is a breakthrough in economic development for people.

Poverty reduction work has been focused on integrating many policies and support programs for multidimensional poor households such as: vocational training, job creation; housing support; preferential credit policies and especially livelihood support from socialized sources. This timely helps poor households have the conditions to escape poverty sustainably. The commune has completed the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for multidimensional poor households in the period of 2021 - 2025.

Socio-economic development programs for ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2021 - 2030 have always been focused on and effectively implemented. The political security and rural security situation is stable. Infrastructure is invested in. The material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities is improved. The great solidarity and unity of ethnic groups is strengthened.

Cocoa products of Ban Ca Cao are connected in OCOP groups, participating in trade promotion programs, and exhibitions of Lam Dong local products in provinces and cities across the country.

According to comrade Nguyen Van Thuc - Secretary of the Party Committee of Cat Tien 2 commune, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of Cat Tien 2 commune sets the goal of building the commune into a socio-economic center, the gateway to the Southwest of Lam Dong province. In particular, the infrastructure system is synchronous, increasingly meeting the requirements of socio-economic development. The commune exploits and reasonably uses its potentials and strengths to develop trade services, attract investment in agricultural economic development. The locality encourages and creates conditions for the private economy to invest in potential local areas, associated with the application of science - technology, and digital transformation.

In addition, the locality comprehensively develops cultural and social fields, improves the quality of human resources; implements social progress and equality, ensures social security, and improves people's lives. At the same time, it pays attention to and takes care of ensuring national defense and security, maintaining political security and social order and safety.

The Party Committee of the commune has made strong changes in building the Party and the political system; consolidating the great national unity bloc; improving the quality of life of the people. To do this, the Party Committee of Cat Tien 2 commune has clearly identified the key tasks that need to be performed. Firstly, promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation in agricultural production, processing and preservation of agricultural products associated with restructuring crops and livestock to increase added value and sustainable development.
