In the context of the increasingly rapid pace of change in the digital economy, PTSC identifies digital transformation as not only the application of technology but also the process of innovating operating models, making decisions based on data and improving the experience for both internal and external customers. The course content is built by FPT Digital as a step to standardize awareness and methods, creating a solid foundation for digital initiatives to be deployed with the right focus, in the right order and at the right speed.
The program focuses on equipping leaders with core principles for digital transformation in practice, in which “people – data – operations” are identified as three central elements. Trainees are guided on how to design modular initiatives, measure them with specific indicators and maintain continuous implementation discipline. The spirit of “lifelong learning” is emphasized as a typical cultural value of PTSC: Know then share – Done then learn – Standardize when done – Better then replicate.
During the course, discussions took place enthusiastically, focusing on practical topics such as data standardization, automating cross-departmental processes, measuring user experience and training digital skills for the team; thereby unifying the principles for selecting priority initiatives based on three criteria: measurable business impact, data/process readiness and system-wide scalability.
Speaking at the training session, Mr. Tran Ho Bac - General Director of PTSC acknowledged the seriousness and receptiveness of the members and emphasized that digital transformation must be directly linked to the operational efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise. He called on each individual and each unit to turn awareness into specific actions, measurable value creation, and at the same time adhere to the "substantive - disciplined - persistent" approach. The General Director also asked the units to incorporate training content into daily work so that digital transformation becomes a part of PTSC's working culture.
At the end of the course, the groups agreed on a number of important results such as PTSC's vision framework and digital transformation principles based on five operational pillars (Standardization - Digitalization - Learning & Communication Culture - Modularization - Linkage) and four key digital capabilities (Cloud, Data, AI, IoT); a list of priority initiatives directly linked to operational goals and customer experience; a unified set of data governance principles with a periodic monitoring mechanism and a clear implementation organization model according to RACI (Responsible - Accountable - Consulted - Informed) - ensuring transparent accountability.
In the coming period, PTSC will continue to expand training courses and synchronously deploy key task groups including standardizing data and processes, implementing fast-impact initiatives, strengthening the DTO (Digital Transformation Office) coordination apparatus, maintaining a continuous improvement mechanism and developing team capacity through on-site training combined with internal mentoring. Learning culture is considered the foundation for sustainable digital transformation at PTSC - where each individual is encouraged to proactively learn, share experiences and solve practical problems with colleagues, contributing to building PTSC into a dynamic, effective and pioneering enterprise in the digital transformation journey of the Vietnamese energy industry.
