Opening of the 15th Congress of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council attended and directed the Congress. Attending the Congress were leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; Party delegations of the provinces: Lai Chau, Son La, Vinh Long.

On the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mua A Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with leaders and former leaders of the province through the periods; veteran revolutionaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces.

The 15th Congress of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, has the theme "Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; promoting the strength of great national unity; boosting socio-economic development; ensuring national defense and security, expanding foreign relations; making Dien Bien a province developing in the direction of green, smart, sustainable economy, striving to develop well in the region".

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong emphasized: The 15th Congress of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 took place in an exciting, joyful and proud atmosphere of the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people, at a time when our Party and State had just successfully organized the National Ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This is a particularly important political event, marking a new milestone in the process of building and developing the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province. Emphasizing that the contents presented at the Congress are very large and important, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the delegates to promote the spirit of "Solidarity, democracy, discipline, innovation and development", promote the "Dien Bien Phu spirit in peacetime" and the highest responsibility before the Party and the People to complete the contents and programs; successfully organize the 15th Congress of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong delivered the opening speech of the Congress.

After the opening speech, the Congress listened to the Presidium briefly present the draft Political Report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XIV (term 2020 - 2025); Review Report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XIV, term 2020 - 2025. The 15th Congress of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 will fully implement the contents in accordance with Directive No. 45-CT/TW, dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
