Pickup truck causes multiple accidents: While walking, a car rushed towards him

On the afternoon of July 23, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital received male patient NVT (58 years old, address in Tuong Mai, Hanoi ) in critical condition after a serious traffic accident occurred on Kham Thien Street ( Hanoi ).

Patient NVT suffered multiple injuries in a series of accidents on Kham Thien Street and underwent emergency surgery at Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.

According to initial information, while walking, Mr. T. was suddenly hit by a car that lost control, causing serious multiple injuries. The patient was taken to the emergency room by local people and urgently transferred to Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.

At the time of admission, the patient was diagnosed with a skin abrasion wound on the left buttock, suspected traumatic brain injury, maxillofacial injury, closed chest and abdominal trauma. After urgent consultation, the doctors ordered emergency surgery.

Mr. T. was the victim of a series of accidents involving a pickup truck and several motorbikes, which occurred on Kham Thien Street (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward) at around 4:45 p.m. on July 23.

A pickup truck (driver unknown) suddenly crashed into a series of motorbikes in traffic and many motorbikes parked on the side of the road.

A witness said that because the car was going so fast, many people were unable to avoid it, and some were trapped under the car. Immediately after the accident, passersby and traffic police had to lift the car to get the victims out.

At the scene, two injured people were taken to the emergency room by authorities and local residents. A pickup truck and at least three motorbikes were damaged.
