Honda U-Qe is an electric vehicle distributed in China through the Wuyang Honda joint venture. The vehicle has a compact, cute style, inspired by cartoon characters such as Pororo the penguin. The Chinese Honda U-Qe has overall dimensions of 1,660 x 715 x 1,045 mm, seat height of 730 mm, suitable for the physique of many users.
The overall design of the vehicle is quite minimalist. The headlights and turn signals use LED technology combined with lenses, helping to ensure good lighting when operating at night. The color digital clock cluster displays full parameters: speed, distance, remaining battery level, real time, etc. In addition, on high-end versions, the clock also integrates smartphone connectivity, supporting NFC for users to easily monitor vehicle status via the application. Other smart features include a smart unlock feature. The Honda U-Qe also comes with a front storage compartment with a USB charging port, convenient hooks and a flat footrest.
In terms of performance, the Honda U-Qe is equipped with a rear-wheel electric motor with a maximum capacity of 400W, limited to a speed of 25 km/h. The bike still has integrated pedals and a chain drive system, allowing users to pedal like a regular bicycle in case the battery runs out. Despite being a low-cost model, the Honda U-Qe still uses a lithium battery, with an operating range of 50 km to 80 km depending on the version. The vehicle is also equipped with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, ensuring safety during operation.
The price of the Honda U-Qe electric car in China starts at 2,799 yuan (equivalent to about 10.2 million VND). In the Vietnamese market, the car is also imported to private dealers without official information but the price has not been announced. Video : Details of Honda U-Qe electric vehicle in China.
