Vicem Song Thao Cement ships out its first shipment of the year.

At exactly 11:15 AM on February 19th (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year), Vicem Song Thao Cement Joint Stock Company simultaneously shipped out its consignments, marking the beginning of shipments to welcome the Year of the Horse 2026.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, General Director of Vicem Song Thao Cement Joint Stock Company, said that on this occasion, the company is exporting various types of cement, including PCB30 bags, PCB40 bags, PCB40 bulk, BC40 bulk, etc. Notably, after nearly 7 years of ceasing production of cement under the Song Thao brand and switching to processing products for Vicem Hai Phong Cement (since June 2019) as directed by the Vietnam Cement Corporation, today's first shipment of the Year of the Horse 2026 officially marks the return to the market of the traditional Vicem Song Thao bagged cement brand with types such as PCB30, PCB40, etc.

From early morning, vehicles belonging to distributors arrived at the staging area in the parking lot, preparing to receive the first tons of cement of the new year, the Year of the Horse 2026.

To prepare for shipments at the beginning of the year and during the Tet holiday, the kiln's operation continued as normal. The production line was regularly maintained, serviced, and repaired by technical units, ensuring stable production. Personnel were also fully staffed throughout the Lunar New Year holiday to ensure smooth operation of the machinery.

Orders ranging from 10 to 100 tons on New Year's Day were loaded onto trucks for distributors.

According to observations, from early morning, vehicles from distributors arrived at the assembly point, creating a bustling and enthusiastic atmosphere not only at the cement plant's loading area but also throughout all departments and production lines of the company. In the production departments, operating workers were fully equipped with personal protective equipment. Workers, technicians, and maintenance personnel regularly coordinated to check the parameters of the kiln system. In the central control room, engineers monitored the operation of the production line minute by minute, hour by hour.

After nearly 7 years of discontinued production, the traditional Vicem Song Thao bagged cement brand, with its PCB 30, PCB 40... grades, has officially returned to the market.

According to Mr. Trieu Quang Cong, Head of the Organization and Administration Department of Song Thao Cement Joint Stock Company: The company has implemented policies for employees working on holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year), ensuring labor rights. In addition to salary and gifts in kind, employees working on Tet receive one day's pay plus 300% of their holiday pay. Those working night shifts receive one day's pay plus 390% of their holiday pay.

Company leaders presented flowers and lucky money to distributors and drivers at the launch ceremony for the first shipment of the year.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Head of Information Business Department: To ensure shipments for the New Year, the units have planned production, prepared supplies and materials; arranged personnel to work in shifts and have reserve personnel, ensuring the production line operates 24/7 during the Tet holiday.

According to the 2026 plan, the company aims to produce and sell over 1,225,000 tons of cement and clinker. Along with stabilizing production to meet the processing needs of Vicem Hai Phong, the company proactively develops production and business strategies for each region and type of cement, leveraging its logistics advantages to expand its customer base, develop the bulk cement market, and implement flexible sales policies to increase competitiveness and sales volume. The company will gradually reintroduce the traditional Vicem Song Thao bagged cement product to the market, striving for a sales volume of 96,000 tons in 2026.
