Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 14 Series, its new premium smartphone lineup at an exclusive launch event in Barcelona, Spain.
After committing to become a strategic partner in 2022, Xiaomi and Leica have together started a "revolution" to elevate mobile photography on smartphones, and the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Series with Leica Summilux optical lenses is a typical representative of this cooperation.
The most special feature of the Xiaomi 14 Series is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a large circular camera cluster, inspired by traditional cameras. With international versions, the back of the device is designed flat with two classic black and white colors.
This product is crafted according to Xiaomi Guardian Structure, which is made of solid aluminum with improved durability up to 1.38 times. And the artificial leather layer specially designed by Xiaomi using new nano technology is thinner and lighter than previous generations, with 6 times improved abrasion resistance.
With Xiaomi Shield Glass, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra screen redefines the concept of mobile screens by achieving consistent curvature at all edges and corners, providing seamlessness between a flat screen and tactile feedback when touching the curved edge.
Users will experience vivid images with the special 6.73-inch AMOLED C8 WQHD+ display created by Xiaomi. With a stunning WQHD+ resolution (3,200 x 1,440 pixels), 522ppi pixel density and 120Hz refresh rate, combined with 3,000 nits brightness, users will have a superior cinematic experience.
In terms of photography, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with a professional 4-camera cluster with a focal length range from 12mm to 120mm. The main camera has an aperture of ƒ/1.63 - f/4.0, providing seamless exposure adjustment in many different situations.
Thanks to the built-in large 1-inch LYT-900 image sensor with a dynamic range of up to 14EV, every image will be of outstanding quality regardless of the environmental conditions. The Leica 75mm telephoto camera, Leica 120mm periscope camera and Leica 12mm ultra-wide camera complete the professional camera cluster, serving all the needs of users.
Thanks to its high-quality camera cluster, Xiaomi 14 Ultra leads the field in the field of 8K - 30fps video recording, supporting 4 cameras. With Leica optical system and 50MP sensor, the system records 8K video with very high definition, facilitating professional post-editing. The main camera supports 4K - 120fps recording, giving excellent quality even when slowed down 5x.

Compared to the previous generation, CPU performance is improved by up to 32% and power consumption is reduced by 34%. GPU performance is also significantly improved, up to 34% and power consumption is reduced by 38%. Xiaomi 14 Series is equipped with Qualcomm FastConnect 7800, bringing impressive 7-channel 320MHz Wi-Fi. Xiaomi 14 Ultra goes a step further with High-Band Multi-Link (HBS), ensuring the widest channel and lowest latency available, optimizing high-speed multi-device connectivity.
