Stirring clip of elementary school students smoking in school

TPO - An Giang province authorities are verifying a clip circulating on social media, recording a group of elementary school students smoking right on school grounds.

The nearly one-minute clip shows about five female students in uniforms openly smoking in the schoolyard. Notably, the group of students also passed the cigarette around, inviting a male student to join in.

The incident is said to have occurred at an elementary school in Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province.

On the morning of March 31, a leader of the Departmentof Education and Training of An Giang province said that immediately after receiving the information, the Department requested the leaders of the People's Committee of Long Xuyen City to review and verify in the area.

Local authorities determined that the incident occurred at LHP Primary School in My Thoi Ward, Long Xuyen City and invited the students' parents to come and work.
