According to observations, during the day, flocks of storks gather up to thousands. They forage in rice fields and swamps; their main food is golden apple snails, grasshoppers, worms, crickets... In the evening, they gather to take shelter in the cajuput forests in the surrounding area.

The snail stork, also known as the swallow stork, belongs to the crane family and is a rare bird listed in the Vietnam Red Book. They often live in mangrove forests.
To protect the flock of storks, local authorities have promoted, mobilized, and reminded people not to hunt, trap, shoot, or chase them away, creating a safe environment for them to live.
It is known that in previous years, in this locality, storks also often came here to find food and shelter in large numbers.
