Mr. Huynh Tan Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said that the 9-month export results had a great contribution from local enterprises. Key enterprises such as: Hai Vuong Group specializing in frozen fish (especially tuna), Nha Trang Seafoods F17 Joint Stock Company (frozen shrimp), Thong Thuan Cam Ranh Seafood Joint Stock Company, Tin Thinh Company Limited, Thinh Hung Company Limited... have maintained high seafood export output and value, contributing to stabilizing the province's economy .

Long-term orientations

To maintain growth and overcome trade barriers, the Department of Industry and Trade has proactively implemented many solutions to directly support businesses. One of the top priorities is to quickly resolve procedures for granting certificates of origin (C/O), helping businesses effectively take advantage of signed Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). The province also regularly provides information to invite businesses to attend meetings with the Foreign Trade Office system organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade , and proactively updates and deploys information on the market situation and new regulations and policies for goods exported to other countries. In particular, the province has sent a written report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the production and export situation of businesses in the context of the United States applying a 20% reciprocal tax rate.

Trade promotion activities are promoted towards market diversification through inviting businesses to participate in trade delegations in Pakistan, agricultural trade delegations in the Chinese market... In addition, the province also supports and guides the construction and formation of display points, introduction and sale of OCOP products in Nha Trang ward, promoting the consumption of products certified with OCOP from 3 stars or higher.

In the fourth quarter, the Department of Industry and Trade identified the key task as continuing to closely monitor developments and changes in trade policies of major countries. Especially in the context of the unstable political situation in the world, the imposition of high tariffs by the United States will also greatly affect overall exports. This tax level causes product prices to increase to consumers, forcing businesses to reduce selling prices to maintain competitiveness, leading to a decrease in profits. This situation also causes difficulties in finding new orders and directly affects workers' jobs. In the long term, Khanh Hoa is urgently completing strategic plans for the period 2026 - 2030, including advising on the drafting of a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on policies to support trade promotion activities, along with other important drafts such as the market development plan and the e-commerce development plan of Khanh Hoa province for the period 2026 - 2030.

Mr. Nguyen Sanh Duong - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said that with the preparation of a solid policy foundation for trade, Khanh Hoa is making efforts to shift from a "reactive" to a "proactive" state in economic management and operation. Although there are still many challenges in logistics, input costs and strict quality standards from the market, with a growth rate of 11.1% in 9 months, Khanh Hoa's annual export target has a basis to reach the finish line successfully.
