The project is large-scale, with a total length of nearly 40km, including nearly 30km of new construction, nearly 6.8km of renovation and upgrading, and over 2.4km of branch lines, along with 24 bridges. The total investment is nearly 1,480 billion VND, of which 179 billion VND is allocated from the local budget. To date, the cumulative value of work completed has reached approximately 79.72%, but the progress is still not meeting the set requirements.

According to on-site reports, the project is behind schedule due to several factors. Prolonged unfavorable weather conditions and limited water and land transportation are hindering the delivery of materials and equipment. In addition, some contractors have not yet mobilized sufficient machinery, personnel, and financial resources to simultaneously implement all project components. Furthermore, land clearance remains an issue, with four households yet to hand over their land, disrupting construction on some sections of the route.

In response to this situation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ho Van Mung, requested that the construction units accelerate their work by organizing continuous construction according to the "3 shifts, 4 teams" principle, working day and night to compensate for the delayed volume. The goal is for each contractor to complete an additional 10 to 15% of the project volume by January 31st. The investor is tasked with updating the progress weekly so that the Provincial People's Committee can promptly direct the handling of bottlenecks.

Regarding the construction site, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested local authorities to continue encouraging people to comply with legal regulations. If necessary, coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure smooth construction and prevent any impact on the overall progress of the project.
