Vietnam demands that China immediately stop its infringement activities and withdraw the Huong Duong Hong 10 ship and its coast guard and fishing vessels from Vietnam's waters.

On May 25, in response to a reporter's question asking about Vietnam's reaction to the recent violation of Vietnam's exclusive economic zone by the survey ship Huong Duong Hong 10, along with Chinese coast guard and fishing vessels, by Vietnamese vessels, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang affirmed:

Recently, as reported, the Chinese survey ship Huong Duong Hong 10 and a number of coast guard and fishing boats violated Vietnam's exclusive economic zone established in accordance with the provisions of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
