Cay Thi Pagoda - A sacred place halfway up Ngu Mountain
Cay Thi Pagoda (also known as Tinh Vien Di Da) is an ancient pagoda hidden on the slope of Ngu Mountain, in Che Trinh Village, Thanh Tam Commune, Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam Province. From the center of Phu Ly City, the pagoda is about 16km away and it takes less than two hours to travel from Hanoi (about 76km) to get here.
Cay Thi Pagoda has existed for hundreds of years, located halfway up Ngu Mountain, completely separate from the residential area, so it is extremely quiet and peaceful. Not only does it have spiritual value, the pagoda is also associated with many historical structures.
One of the special symbols that makes up the name of the pagoda is the ancient banyan tree with an age of nearly 400 years located right next to the pagoda. The image of this ancient banyan tree is associated with the name of the Banyan Tree Pagoda - a place that is not only sacred but also rich in culture and historical value.
