Yamaha has officially unveiled the 2026 YZ450F, a top-of-the-line off-road motorcycle with a series of groundbreaking improvements. Not only is it more powerful, the model has also been refined to be easier to control and more flexible, aimed at riders who want to maintain high speeds for a long time while still feeling confident and in control.

The first highlight comes from the completely redesigned frame, optimizing stiffness and flex in each bearing area. The KYB suspension system has also been upgraded with 48mm front forks and high-performance rear shock absorbers, providing more flexible handling when cornering or landing at high speed.

The 450cc SOHC 4-stroke engine retains the basic structure, but has been significantly improved in the intake, helping to increase torque at low and mid-range speeds, while maintaining stable pulling power at high speeds. Yamaha engineers have redesigned the piston assembly and titanium valves to increase performance without increasing weight.

One of the highlights of the 2026 YZ450F is the new generation hydraulic clutch system, which gives a significantly lighter and smoother pulling feel. The 5-speed gearbox with tri-shaft design also helps reduce overall size, increasing stability when shifting continuously in difficult road conditions.

Technology is also a must. Yamaha has integrated the new generation Power Tuner App, allowing users to customize engine maps, traction control and launch control using just their phone. Notably, this is the first time the model has been equipped with the ECU lock feature via phone password, enhancing security when the vehicle is left outside the racetrack.

The 2026 YZ450F still retains its ideal weight of around 110 kg, a 6-liter fuel tank, along with a high-performance disc brake system and specialized Dunlop MX33 tires. All to bring the optimal experience on all types of terrain.
