According to Bloomberg , Meta Platforms Chairman Mark Zuckerberg wore a Greubel Forsey 'Hand Made 1' watch on his left wrist in a video announcing the policy changes posted on Facebook on January 7.

This watch is extremely rare and expensive. Greubel Forsey only produces two or three “Hand Made” models each year. Each retails for $895,000 before taxes.

The Facebook CEO has shown his love for Swiss watches, wearing several over the past year. Famous brands he trusts include Patek Philippe and FP Journe.

However, the Greubel Forsey model is more highly regarded. Only a few hundred are produced each year, and the brand is favored by the wealthiest collectors.

The watch Zuckerberg wears is made almost entirely of components made by Greubel Forsey. It takes hundreds of hours to assemble and hand-finish.

Commenting on this, Greubel Forsey CEO Michel Nydegger said he felt honored that someone who played an important role in shaping the digital technology market like Zuckerberg appreciated the traditional approach to watchmaking.

Michel Nydegger took over as CEO last year after Greubel Forsey decided to increase production and reduce average selling prices to around $500,000 per watch.
