Accordingly, 10 startup teams from key technology fields such as smart cities, robots, automation, Internet of Things (IoT), smart agriculture, especially artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics and many other fields, will receive financial support worth 10,000 USD each to continue developing their projects in the next 6 months when participating in the incubation phase.
Startups participating in the “Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge” can use Qualcomm labs during their development process.
The program includes technical assistance, business coaching, and intellectual property training. Teams will also receive support for patent filing costs of up to $5,000 per team and have the opportunity to win a cash prize of $225,000 in the final program.
Qualified companies were selected based on multiple criteria, including technical capabilities, innovative products and patentable technologies, as well as relevance and suitability to Vietnam’s national digital transformation and fourth industrial revolution.

- iGot AI: iGot AI - A suite of programming-free tools for seamless design, deployment, and collaboration with AI agents.
- OnMic: Snapcut - AI-Powered Video Repurposing Tool.
- Rainscales: eMagicEyes - an AI-powered platform for proactive safety and smarter operations.
- Seamorny: AI-based sustainable aquaculture solution.
- Techvico: Smart autonomous mobile robot platform solution.
- Viet Dynamic: Smart factory solutions and AI applications in manufacturing.
Officially launched in December 2019, the Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge is organized to identify and nurture innovative startups operating in the potential technology sector of Vietnam. The program, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, aims to develop the emerging technology ecosystem by finding and supporting small and medium enterprises that are designing products for 5G, IoT, artificial intelligence, smart cities, etc.
