Phaco eye surgery at Military Hospital 175, Ho Chi Minh City
This is a charity eye surgery program implemented by the Trade Union and the Ophthalmology Department of Military Hospital 175 in coordination with accompanying units inside and outside the military.
Registration time starts from April 28 to October 20 at the Political Department of Military Hospital 175 (786 Nguyen Kiem, Ward 3, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City). Surgery is scheduled from May 4 to November 20 every Wednesday.
After screening and being assigned to surgery, patients are instructed to come one day in advance to complete the paperwork, have a check-up and do pre-operative tests. Because of the application of modern Phaco eye surgery techniques and the use of soft lenses, patients do not feel pain, the incision is small and the bandage can be removed after a few hours.
